iCUBES launch event

Goal

iCUBES is a unique incubation center for innovative ICT companies in Flanders. This business center is situated in an inspiring environment and offers all the necessary facilities to enable enterprises to grow. The office spaces are ready to go. Furthermore iCUBES offers high tech services and infrastructure to a network of promising ICT companies. iCUBES is also connected to the Interdisciplinary institute for Broadband Technology (IBBT).

Who should attend?

This launch event is first of all aimed at representatives from ICT companies and from the government. POM Oost-Vlaanderen, ParticipatieMaatschappij Vlaanderen and IBBT would also like te welcome anyone with an interest in the new incubation center.

Program

The program provides an introduction to the business center iCUBES and the contribution of the different initiators in this project. Furthermore Iris Valaelst will share her research results as to entrepreneurial teams in innovative high tech starters. Koen Verlaeckt (chief of cabinet of minister Moerman) will then exemplify her Flemish innovation policy. Afterwards you will have the opportunity to explore the newly furnished iCUBES offices and get to meet the companies residing in iCUBES already. At the same time you will be able to visit IBBT's renewed facilities and design. The event will be concluded with a reception.

iCUBES is a joint realisation from Provinciale Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij Oost-Vlaanderen, ParticipatieMaatschappij Vlaanderen and the Interdisciplinary institute for Broadband Technology (IBBT).
